This Saturday, September 24th, Vans will be bringing together 50 years of “Off The Wall” heritage in action sports, art, music and street culture at House of Vans celebrations in the Lion City. Much like its iterations in New York and London, Vans will unite thousands of guests under a 🏁checkerboard flag🏁to showcase Vans’ unique culture through multi-faceted activities including interactive workshops, vintage memorabilia installations, and unforgettable musical performances.

The House of Vans Singapore is kicking off this inaugural event in the former Police Station located at 99 Beach Rd. Walking into the historical building cum pop-up House of Vans, attendees will be transported into an experience that brings street culture and art firmly to the forefront with an engaging programme line-up that will run throughout the day including video screenings, haircuts, art and photography exhibitions and interactive workshops – all free for everyone to participate.

This event is just another line-up of happenings as Vans looks to expand the House of Vans experience around the world to further cement Vans’ dedication to fostering creative expression through action sports, art, music and street culture. Throughout 2016, Vans will host a variety of activations including skateboarding demos, music events, interactive design workshops and art installations within the House of Vans, all to continue to encourage the creative communities that have supported Vans for the past 50 years and will continue to support Vans for years to come.
As if the amazing activity line-up is not enough, we were most intrigued by the fantastic lineup of acts Vans has curated for their House Of Vans Music Night. Featuring established acts from across the Causeway such as hip-hop crew Lawalah Familia, art-punk band Killeur Calculateur and feel-good rock band Volatile, this showcase certainly looks set to be loud, energetic and diverse.
